Rent an electric scooter

There are scooters for rent all over Tel-Aviv. It’s cheaper to rent an electric scooter than taking a taxi and for sure much more fun. It’s nice to ride in many places but the best place to ride is from HaYarkon park to Tel-Baruch beach. Ride in evening time, start at the park and go all the way to the beach to watch the sunset.

I personaly recommend Bird scooters. There are many bird scooters everywhere, you can download the app and start using it immediately.

Water ski & Wakeboarding at Lake TLV

The biggest and leading Wakeboarding & water ski site in Israel. A funny day to go with friends and do some extreme sport together. The lake is located inside a nice park so it can be cool to spend the day there.

Lake TLV is located about 2 km east to “Shuk Hatikva” which is a great market, with a big variety of local food and an amazing market vibe to it.

Go on a bike tour

Tel Aviv is a great city to explore with a bicycle and most of the streets are bike friendly. Also, Tel Aviv’s size is not too big and a large part of the city streches along the coastline which makes it perfect if you feel you want to refresh in the sea.

I can say that many of the Tel Avivians move around by bike (or a scooter). Tel Aviv is very well connected and most of the roads feature a bicycle lane as well.

Bike tours in Tel Aviv

  • Tel Aviv Jaffa Guided Bike Tour – A 3 hour bike tour to explore the highlights of Tel Aviv and Jaffa. Biking through cool neighborhoods, beautiful streets and amazing markets, stopping on the way for some yummy Israeli food.
  • Tel Aviv Highlights Bike Tour – Bike tour through some of the Tel Aviv’s key highlights, from Hayarkon Park, along the beach promenade to Rothschild Boulevard. Have fun and learn about local history, culture, and landmarks.

Go on a self-guided bike tour

Bikes can be rented at pretty much every corner in town and at any good hotel or hostel. For the lazy ones, an electric scooter can be a great option. Once you rent the bike, this is probably the best route to ride it: go to old Jaffa and ride along the beach promenade all the way to Reading power station, which is located in the northern part of the city next to the port.

Walk Tel Aviv’s beach promenade

One of the best things about Tel Aviv is its beach promenade. Recently renovated, the promenade goes along Tel Aviv’s coastline all the way from jaffa till’ Tel Aviv’s port and even byond.

I truly believe that it’s one of the best boardwalks in the world. It offers easy access to the beach or any of the countless cafes dotted along the shore. The beach promenade is always interesting, full of life and one of the best beach activities for all ages.

This is an amazing walk with beautifully paved path where people are walking their dogs, using the exercise equipment on the beach, cycling, jogging, running, playing volleyball or doing other kinds of beach activities.

The best thing about this boardwalk is that it’s one of the best places in Tel Aviv to watch the sunset. It feel like the all the people are coming down to the beach during the sunset which gives it a magical vibe.

Practice SUP Yoga

Stand up paddle boarding aka SUP is an amazing thing to do in Tel Aviv. In the recent years the sport has developed a lot and there are different kinds companies and private people teaching it.

One of the places offers SUP yoga, a combination of SUP and yoga. Combining the two together, yoga on a paddle board inside the sea during sunset, is a magical experience for the body & mind.

Tel Aviv is a fast-paced city, stopping for a moment, doing yoga, listening to the waves and having the sunset in the background is the perfect stress relief activity for you.

The SUP yoga takes place in Marina Tel Aviv, there are private and group classes to choose from, you just have to go and check it out yourself.

  1. Long time supporter, and thought I’d drop a comment.

Your wordpress site is very sleek – hope you don’t mind me asking what theme you’re using?
(and don’t mind if I steal it? :P)

I just launched my site –also built in wordpress like yours–
but the theme slows (!) the site down quite a bit.

In case you have a minute, you can find it by searching for “royal cbd” on Google (would appreciate
any feedback) – it’s still in the works.

Keep up the good work– and hope you all take care of yourself during the coronavirus scare!

  2. Fantastic blog! Do you have any helpful hints for aspiring
writers? I’m hoping to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you suggest starting with a free platform like WordPress or go
for a paid option? There are so many options out there
that I’m completely overwhelmed .. Any ideas? Many
    thanks!

  3. Write more, thats all I have to say. Literally, it seems as though you relied on the video to make your point.
You definitely know what youre talking about,
why waste your intelligence on just posting videos to your weblog when you could be giving
    us something informative to read?
